1 1/8 bars on a tuber with stock gauge mount. the part is finally made and on its way. I have been riding with a buddy of mine who owns a ducati monster and have been looking at the bars thinking they would be perfect on the S1 with the manta tank. I bought a set of 1 inch rise 1 1/8 bar conversion blocks from American Sport Bike but no way to use the stock gauge set up, so I had a top bar clamp made that would mate to the black conversion risers that American Sport Bike sells. machine shop is done and it will be in the mail today. this will also be perfect for the 1 1/8 CR Buell bars that American Sport Bike still sells. I also asked the shop to set up a set of top trees with the mount blocks incorporated so I dont need the 1 inch conversion spacers. more to follow. Now, I can finally mail back the top tree i borrowed from someone on here that I have had way to long...have to go fishing through the archives to get the contact back..... |
