I'm in the process of changing my steering bearing, The kit I got from all balls includes a rubber seal, but the bike didn't have one when I took it apart it only had the cover Should I install it or not? The bearing were really filthy when I removed them, but if I install them I'll have to buy another set if there a fitment issue.

My '98 S3T doesn't have that seal, just the metal shields. Maybe it was used on later models? |

If the seal isn't in the way, I'd use it. Keeping water out of there has to be a good thing. |

I used the seal version on my M2 with no problems. |

I meant did you use both the metal dust seal + the rubber on top and bottom |
