Unfortunately due to Government BS I will be parting Out #361. I will be listing a large add on BWB for all my fellow Buellers here first, then its off to Ebay. The frame will be available with a clear MN USA title as well as the Signature series plate.. Due to distance, costs, and RED tape involved, I am unable to get the title transfered to Canada and with other complications on selling to the USA as a whole Unit this is all I can do. I am selling assemblies first and whatever else is left after. I can only ship by Canada Post Mail, and will only accept Paypal for payment. I have bin actively involved with Buell since 1995 and I no the importance of the S2 series as well as I no that these parts are getting harder to find..So, I geuss #361s fate is to be a donor for all the other S2s out there... Please dont waste my time or yours if you are NOT Seriuos about a purchase of a certain part... I will be taking offers on any part you see on the bike from the photo, but be realistic, Im not F**kin stupid.. So, My ad for this bike part out, plus alot of other Buell stuff I have will be listed soon...NOTE *I do still have my 1996 S2T, #003, and would Never part it out for any reason.!!!

I don't get it: what is the "other complications" with selling the whole bike back to the USA? If you can sell the frame and title, then you can sell the whole bike. Snap red is my LAST choice for an S2 and you couldn't be further from me without being in the north Atlantic but, there has to be a better fate for a complete, running, nice condition S2 than the chopping block. Where are you? Your profile says Manitoba but, I thought something said Ottawa. (Message edited by greg_cifu on October 09, 2012) |

Im not into wasting my life trying to please a bunch of Governemnt A holes red tape...Capish? yes, Im located near Winnipeg Manitoba..Dont no where ya got Ottawa from... HB |

So you can't ride it across the border again with the papers in whatever state they're in (signed over, bill of sale, whatever)? What if you rode it to North Dakota, somebody followed you in a car and the exchange took place on American soil? It looks like you're an hour on the other side. You're 2000 miles away from me. If I drive 4000 miles to trailer that bike home, it would have to be EVERYTHING (header, bags, etc). Don't get too far ahead of yourself tearing it down. |

Seems like someone could drive across the border, buy a bunch of parts that haven't been disassembled yet, and clear up the title work in the states. I've obtained a copy of a title for a third party years after the individual I sold my bike to didn't title it. I'm betting the original owner would be willing to do likewise for something much more desirable than a Suzuki 450. |

After 29 yrs of going to Sturgis and many other trips to the USA, Homeland Security has decided that I can no longer enter the USA from a simple possesion charge were i was finger printed and fined $300 in 1976. No other charges of any kind since 1976. This has not only happened to me this summer but to many other people I no from Canada that have had silly pot charges etc going back as far as the late 60s. I even have a Border crossing card with a approved waiver which was issued to me in 1983, but I guess the USA officials dont want Canadian $$ & since 911 which had nothing to do with me, its gotten really stupid. Thus, I cant even take the bike down there, and when I called about it I got a very negative response because the bike has bin in Canada since 2006 and the owner didnt change anything cause he was on a student visa...He is now in England. So,Unfortunately, Parts it will be guys! |

It's a shame you can't participate in events on this side of the border. I was referring to someone from this side traveling to Canada, though. I haven't given up yet! I have an S3 that was "totalled" and an S2 project that I really should have walked away from. I even bought a frame along with S3 body parts "just in case" I decided to recreate one. This one is definitely more worth saving than they were. |
