did some one notice the gas cap???? i`m addicted to limited edition x1`s and thought i did knew them all.till i noticed the gas cap in this ad http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/21/694296.html?1349195123  #63 out of 100 thought there were only 4 limited edition x1`s - x1 carbon fibre 250 ----most stayed in the u.s..some went to japan - x1 blue racing stripe 350---- some stayed in the u.s rest went to europe - x1 millenium 800---- 400 stayed in the u.s--400 spread over the world - x1 red racing stripe 800---- 400 stayed in the u.s--400 spread over the world | ||

There's a thread awhile back about these. 1313 had some info on them. I think basically it was a CF bike with a white frame, wheels and different windscreen. | ||

Buell made a Japanese Edition X-1 and that is not one. Looks to be a regular X-1 with with a few standard CF pieces, and a gas cap. I agree, that's not one. I just saw the second craigslist posting. Clicked the first one earlier and it had been taken down. It might be a CF Extreme but it's not Japanese. | ||

It's my bike. Not really sure what the story is on the gas cap. VIN search on H-Dnet idicates that it is in fact a carbon fiber edition but it was a domestic bike. No clue how this gas cap got on the bike but I didnt but it on. | ||
