I have a round aluminum K&N filter, as offered long ago by American Sport Bike. I'm looking for the sock that is fitted over the unit for use in rain. Anyone know where to find one? |

"i" could never figure out this SOCK THING ??? We buy a free flowing AIR FILTER, then we buy a FINE MESH SOCK which re-stricks the air flow thru the FREE FLOWING AIR FILTER ??? |

LOL buelistic, so true. i've ridden with k&n exposed filter in very heavy rain, the bike runs fine, the filter is just a bit more restrictive till it drys out. the fine mist of water that gets in works to decarbon. |

Seriously, I have been in a deluge so bad that the bike wouldn't stay running with the exposed filter. The dry sock might have helped. The good thing about the dry sock is you can carry it around in your pocket and only slip it on when its raining. Your peak performance shouldn't be your primary concern if its raining hard enough to need the dry sock anyway. |

Try the ol' Google search, I found some Force-type socks in surprising places, and in different colors, for about $23. It was quite a while ago, though. |
