Well I installed the DDM kit and....nothing. I get no lights or anything when I cut the bike on. All the connections are good, is there anything special other than just plugging the connectors together and hooking it to the battery/grounding it? Fuse is good I checked it. Also, on the ballast/ignitor there is a small pink wire with a plug for a single flat blade connector. I was under the impression you do not use it as its just for cars that have some extra feature or something, can anyone confirm this? Thanks, Spencer |

I mean Im pretty sure I do, most the connectors are different so there is only one way to hook it up. What is the pink wire that comes off of the relay harness wherer it plugs into the ballast? |

I am unsure of the buzz as I had my bike running when checking it, I will try it with the bike off and see if I hear a buzz |

It comes off the harness right where it plugs into the ballast box. There's the ballast wire, a ground, and a pink wire with a connector for a single flat blade terminal. I figured it was unneeded but maybebim wrong |

spence make a sketch and post up one thing to check are the power to the ballast ( + / - ) correct, I wired my first one backwards and it did not light up, once corrected no issues typically, the ballast has 2 power wires in via a single 2 pin connector ( you can mix these up ) and 2 wires out to the lamp ( you cant mix these up ) the pink wire is new to me, sounds like you have an automotive ballast. the pink wire on the bike is the tach feed. |

Olddog, that's a good idea. When I get out of class ills go and see If I get any luck flipping the connectors I actually remember now some other thread about someone sayin they had to reverse the connector to make it work, maybe that'sy problem. If that doesn't solve it ill take some pictures of it all. Thanks, Spencer |

I installed HIDs on my car and my Girlfriend's Tahoe. if you have the polarity to the ballast reversed, it will do nothing. Check that 1st. |
