I want to change the front fork oil on my 1995 S2. Any recommendations on how to do it? |

All I have to work from is the manual....so, no other tips to share. I'm interested in any from others as well, though. |

One big tip I just got from AL at American Sport Bike is to heat the outer tube with a heat gun before you try to remove the seal. Al said to get it hot enough that you need to wear a glove. This saves the bushings and a spacer inside. One more thing, the upper bushings are now VERY difficult to find. The lowers are stupid expensive (about $100). |

Upper bushings: if al can't find any to sell, what hope is there for future S2/Roma fork overhauls?! |

Right. Al is chasing this issue down. I just hope my bushings are still OK when I get the replacement fork seals. Maybe if we all beg Traxion Dynamics they will come up with something. They have them listed but you can't select them from their web catalog.... Brad |

I've been getting most of my suspension parts from Racetech. Surprisingly, some parts are still available from H-D as well, at typical H-D prices. |
