Since I'll have a bunch, I was wondering if it was useable in the Buell as well as my two Harleys. Thanks in advance for any advice.   Jim2 Posted on Tuesday, August 07, 2012 - 04:05 pm:        The big problem with selection of what fluid to run in the primary on Buell's is whether or not they eat the clear coating on the stator wires. This takes time, 15,000 miles or so. So anyone that may be running this should also include how many miles they have used it and if they have ever had to replace the stator since first introducing that transmission oil.   Hootowl Posted on Tuesday, August 07, 2012 - 04:42 pm:        I wouldn't use anything other than Sportrans (or whatever they're calling it these days) or 20W50 synthetic motor oil.
