Went through the carb and found the air fuel mixture was set at 1/4 turn. Bought the dynojet kit and made all adjustments and changes. No change of any kind. 2000m2, forcewinder intake, d&d full exhaust, 45 idle jet, 200 main jet, 3 turns air fuel. Front end will notcome off the ground. Any suggestions. Coil? Ignition box? |

-did you make sure that your throttle slide is moving smooth and all diaphragms are in good condition with no tears/leaks? -engine timing correct? -throttle cables setup correct? -is your clutch slipping? |

If the fuel and air mixture is not right it will not attain the optimal HP/Torque you will expect. And it sounds that the things you changed would affect this. What did it do before the changes? I have had engines that ran to rich (or lean) and they ran like s--- and sucked way to much fuel. If it ran good before please recheck your carb settings first rather than chase ghosts. I guess it sounds that it had problems before? Was it with the same parts? |

-new slide moving free (replaced thought it might be a bad diaphram -engine timing not changed -throttle cables not changed -clutch seems solid bike stood on end when I picked it up the only thing that was changed was the intake gasket was rolled when I picked it up. I cleaned the carb and replaced properly. the original set up was 200 main, 40 idle, 1/4 turn air/fuel. |

make sure A/F mix screw is from lightly seated not bottomed out. even a pin hole in the diaphragm will cause problems or one that is not seated correctly. What do the plugs look like? |

Is your throttle adjusted properly? You may have the "right" amount of cable slack, but your throttle might only be opening halfway. Are you *sure* you don't have an intake leak? |

This wouldn't affect the low-end, but 200 main sounds big for Florida. What's your elevation, like 100'? Perhaps you could remind us (me) what exactly is in the Dynojet kit? It doesn't have an Accelerator Pump nozzle replacement does it? But it does have a new jet needle? What position is the clip in the jet needle? |

I live in the Tampa area and we are only 50' above sea level. I use a 200 main, 46 slow, stock muffler and an aftermarket air filter, stock needle shimmed, A/F mix 3 turns out from lightly... lightly seated. You dont need the accelerator pump nozzle....in fact I have bypassed mine entirely. I believe your Dynojet kit has an adjustable needle. I would put the "e" clip in the middle and work from there. Also make sure that the platic bushing that comes with the needle is on the flat end of the needle and not through the pointed end of the needle and that you drilled the slide to 1/8 |

Removed the air/fuel screw to find it was missing the washer and the o-ring was split. Just waiting for parts now. Thanks for all the help. |

You also want to make sure that the A/F screw also has a sharp point at the end and not rounded or bent. I have an extra one if you need it. |
