I have one that came with my bike.I had no disks it runs fine in that configuration. Good thing because It came with no disks..I added the tip. I did not like the idea of exhaust blowing on my rear tire. (especially if something let go in the engine) I am having it modded so it exits both sides and will be baloney cut..

Lander X1 thanks for the link, how do i translate? Dreadnaught, can understand what you mean, but the disc's work, my friend put one on an M2 BACK IN 2001 he had a stack of disc's & closed endcap, saw really good gains on Dyno. it was a stock year 2000 M2 with just the lightning ignition module & carbon aircleaner rejetted stock carb. he ran it at Sydney international Dragway ( Australia ) with no experience at drags before. ran a best of 12.0 but trap speed was 116mph that trap speed tells me it made good HP & enough to run in the 11's. i think it was making about 70HP with what he had on, then they put the White Bro's muffler & 2 1/2" pipe on and kept adding disc's and it eventualy made over 80HP with good TQ gain was a dyno jet 250 dyno think had 10 disc's closed end cap |

Lakes, About the german ebay ad (I know how to read german) : The seller writes he always liked the exhaust and it is in a very good condition.he is selling because he now has a full D&D. He also writes the exhaust fits a 2" header (european). This exhaust doesn't fit you're 2.5" header. |

In Euro i think they also get taller final drive ratio, think its 3.04. so think the 2" collector & muff would help Torque. they do it to make bike quiter to get past noise imission. it's same here in Australia. they call the 3.61 gear ratio American gears or something like that, most bikes with 3.61 have the 2 1/2" collector. i have two sets of 2" collector head pipes & one set of 2 1/2" collector head pipe & three Mufflers all with 2" pipe, need a 2 1/2" muffler might make one up just to test on Dyno see what would suit my needs better. i got a Bobby Woods Rebel 43.5 Cv carb & xl CV44 manifold. i'll be putting it on the bike in two weeks. motor is stock might just put new pistons & use my friends Serdi to cut valve seats see how that goes. what pistons does anyone recoment & what comp ratio with stock cams? 00 M2 |

Lakes, did you find your White Bro's pipe yet? There's a Supertrapp for sale here in the U.S. that is a good pipe along the same lines as the White Bro's, just heavier. http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/21/688553.html?1344023833 I wonder why link's don't post correctly on an edit? Just copy and paste I guess. (Message edited by littlebuggles on August 03, 2012) |

no have not found a White Brothers 2.5" yet. would that Suppertrapp fit my M2 2000? it has the Y mount at front stock rubber mount bract at rear. have they improved on the suppertrapp since 2000? as a friend said they were braking & he heard bad reports. also what size disc's does it come with & how many disc's? if it is still 4 sale and can ship to Australia i might be interested. i'm not sure about Torque hammer are they noisy like D&D? & do they make good Torque & HP? also what are they made from? thanks for help |

James, yes, it is that one. Lakes, yes, it will fit your Y2K Cyclone, it is the same as the one I have on mine. Biggest problems are if you have the old style front hanger instead of the "Y" and the rear straps, and he's got the two of them, just bolt each to the bottom stock "Z" bracket mounts. He is including extra disks and several end caps. My profile says how many I use, I've forgotten. Disks are round, not oval like the White Brothers pipe uses. Nice deep tone due to the stainless steel construction, tune the volume with the number of disks installed. |

These are new and I haven't heard them. I see videos on the Utube but I don't have speakers right now. They say they have a db killer that kills the sound but not the power and can use with our without. Dyno chart at the end. 2" and 2.5" available. Made from Stainless Steel. http://www.twinmotorcycles.nl/artikelen.asp?cid=18 &aid=181 |
