another tip for torque wrench owners - always spin/click your wrench back down to the minimum level for storage, releasing tension on the spring. |

Make sure to clean bolt holes out with a tap and compressed air to make sure the bolt does not bottom out. |

VERDICT: There is a lot to know just to use a torque wrench and torque a fastener correctly !!! |

im kinda curious now. he didnt mention anything about how much fun it was to remove the broken bolts. Did he get them out? was it actually not a prob? or did the new bolt get installed on top of the broken bolt? The original problem sounds like a bad torque wrench and no "calibrated" elbow. |
