I thought of using a simple inline pressure regulator and leave the pump alone. For the gallery: This is a highly modified 1250 and yes I know how to use Megalog viewer and ECMSpy. I'm still going to use the HSR42 for racing. Sorry I can't be of any help.   Sanders Posted on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 - 02:00 am:        I don't have the 1250 but I did put a Mikuni on my S3. I pulled the fuel pump out and took the pump portion out the placed the pump mechanism back in. Hooked it back up so I could maintain my fuel level light. The gravity feed has no problem with the Mikuni. Also I put an inline cut out in the fuel line. Simple enough. You'll lose some fuel access from the position of the fuel exit port. I drilled holes for an M2 petcock at the low point of my S3 tank near the battery. I tried the regulator thing but my antique SU carb leaked from the overflow tube.
