Rebuilding an S2T for a friend, and apparently the OEM rear plug wire, with a 90 degree boot at the plug end, is obsolete and they gave me a straight-boot wire. Problem is, a straight boot hits the petcock. Anyone got a spec or application for a rear plug wire for a tuber, with either an angled boot or a 90 degree boot, on the plug end? |

Ratbuell, I had exactly the same problem. I run a long wire from 31964-89B (for FXD or something). Both wires in this kit have a right-angle connector at plug side. So long wire is perfect but shorter wire is a little awkward even though it works. Short wire from 31963-89A (for sportster) has a right-angle connector at coil side and it is not a perfect fit neither but it is better. I run long wire from 31964-89B and short wire from 31963-89A. |

I bought a kit at O'Reillys for a V-8 engine for making your own wires and I have enough for 4 sets at least. They have worked just fine. |
