"Excellent! Do you snore?" Nope. I stayed up all night one time just to make sure. No progress on the bike. The addition I tacked on to the back of the house is taking all my spare time. It doesn't need too much. New front tire, some fiddling with the turn signals.  | ||

Late addition - Just made my reservations. Someone (cough, cough, Loren, cough, cough) got the last room so I'll be in a trailer. One extra twin bed is available if someone else needs a room. | ||

SR - I think I've got the trailer for $98 a night. Seems a bit unfair to charge you half. The twin is yours. Pay me what you think it's worth once the stay is done. As long as you don't go negative I won't be any worse off! | ||

I am still working on my route, but it looks like hwy12 through Idaho, I90 to Rapid City, south into the Black Hills, angle across Nebraska into Kansas, over to Arkansas for the rally, then up to Wisconsin to visit my daughter, then angle back down to Nebraska and head westward through the Rockies back to Washington. Should be just under 5000 miles in two weeks. Really looking forward to the ride. Shane | ||

Just got insurance for the S2. $77 a year for liability and towing. I was shocked. Bike runs, but isn't ready. I'm replacing the front caliper, since it has a nasty scratch on it, and I found a great deal on one. Also just picked up a new front brake rotor and pads, and I still have to replace the front isolator, and fix the turn signal wiring. It's a mess. Now I just need time to work on it. | ||

One of my friends from Oklahoma City and another from Missouri are hoping meet up to ride in the Ozarks this same weekend! Maybe we could rendezvous with your group for to ride?! We'll be on an S1, an XB9SX, and an XB12XT. | ||

I am counting the days to departure, need to swap tires, check brakes, change muffler, that's about it. Looking forward to a long ride. I always feel like I am really gone when I get far enough from home that it would take me a month to walk back. | ||
