Hey all just wondering how much of the s1 will fit on my m2? I would really like to put an s1 seat tail section on the cyclone. I think it looks a hundred times better. I was hoping that they use the same frame, but wasn't sure. |

It can be done....either with cutting the frame or without. If you velcro the seat. And I agree about the looks, but you loose some comfort. |

What do you mean by cutting the frame?, and or velcroing the seat? I don't really want to cut the bike up, actually it would be awesome if it could be interchanged somewhat easily so if someone wants to ride on the back I could just put the m2 seat on and when I want to look awesome I can rock the s1 |

I have a 97 s1. I put the m2 tank rearbodywork and seat on it with no problems just had to mve liscense plate holder out. The holes were allready there. it did raise the seat height a little but the seat isn't murder and I can carry a lot more gear on the longer runs |

I have 2 tanks(lg. and small)3 tail sections(one for each style)and seven seats. I didn't cut the frame so I can go back and fourth, but requires a few hours of work. I love the look of the small tank and the S1 solo tail section, but I don't travel any distance anymore. |

i'm also working on my M2, it just goes really slow. i've also got the RRC tail section on it, its not the S1 tail look wise, but its nearly the same. big advantage on it is you don't need to weld the S1 subframe on it. so the original small tail section will still fit. best of both worlds. also got the X1 forks, M2 headlight and the S1 windscreen on front. X1 polished swing arm. so you can mix and match, is enough information on this web. |
