I need another tire for my other bike and i cannot afford it for a little bit. The buell has the tire i need for this bike and the other bikes tire is 80% worn. My question is will a 190\50\17 fit the rear on my X1 with a pm wheel??? I am already running a 180/55/17 with no problem. Thanks in advance. |

I had a 190 on my M2 (non-PM wheels). I think that my rims are narrower than the PMs, so a 190 on a PM may work. If you have not had a 190 on that bike before, just be aware that even though its only 10mm difference, the bike will feel a little slower around the corners. I went back to a 180 and it feels so much more nimble. I'm much happier with the 180. Just my 2 cents. |

It'll fit, just won't be right. |

Ok that is what i was hoping. The 185/55/17 is a little smaller in width but a tiny bit bigger. I just want to ride this bike while i get the money for registering the buell and the new tires. (Message edited by preybird1 on May 16, 2012) |

My 86 GSXR1100 had stock 18in wheels when I got it in 2000. The rear wheel was only 4in wide, and took a 150 stock. Unfortunately no one made one, so I put a 160 MeZ1 on it. As lean angle increased, contact patch decreased and on that bike that wasn't good........ (Message edited by gixxer86g on May 16, 2012) |
