So I have been looking for a bigger rear pully for my M2 now for awhile and found a number of options. I wanted to remain with the 1 1/8" belt size. The most common was 70 tooth softail pulley but I felt that was a bit too big. However I found a 65 tooth one that was used on early Big Dog motorcycles. there is a guy on eBay that must have a stash of old Big Dog parts (if you don't know, they stopped bike production recently) that he has been selling off. I picked up this one for a whopping $52. He stated he has a few of these to sell, this is the second one i saw like this and I am sure he has more. I plan on mounting it backwards (second pic) so the angles match my PM rims. I know I will probably have to widen the center hole just a tad, but I have access to a lathe and a mill.

I should mention this will change the current ratio by 6.5%... I may actually find a use for 5th gear. Also should make riding around town a little more fun.

What kind of alignment issues will there be mounting it backwards, what about the counterbored bolt holes also?

I will figure out the back spacing once I get it home. As for the holes, I don't see it causing any issue. The pulley is brand new so there shouldn't be any wear issues on the teeth.
