Jim is unable to access BadWeB due to server web-nazi restrictions where he is currently attending classes. He'll be able to correspond here via email though. Say howdy. |

Still working the bugs out of the email reply feature what with the new server. Some of the badweb email server settings have changed, so I'm not sure if the reply by email function is working. I should know in a few minutes... |

It's working Jim, as long as I manually refresh the cron email sender. |

FYI, you won't receive an email of your own posts, only the posts of others. |

Howdy, Sorry I haven't answered any e-mails (but I will) or anything here. Simply couldn't get on the site or access my webmail. Can't believe all the new messages on the site since I've been gone. Totally overwhelming, that's for sure. Ended up deleting my account and created a new one (for reasons I won't get into now). I've got so much to do at home it's ridiculous. Damn fork seals went south on my S3 ... oil everywhere on my back porch. At least the dust and rain storms didn't uncover all my machines and rust the pup(s). Lawn is dead, nobody watered it as I requested. Least they took the damn mail in. Will be kicking some @ss. Battery is deal on the S3 too. Got shot in the left hand with an arrow while I was gone. Some dumb $hit was shooting his bow and arrow. The arrow went over a wall, ricocheted off a tree and stuck in my left hand, between my wrist and thumb. Least it wasn't a broadhead. Switch over to SuSe too. -JW: |

Jim, welcome back - sorry to hear about the hand. On a "why I probably shouldn't still be breathing and should be listed on the Darwin awards" note: When I was a kid, my brother and I had little 7 lb. ? bows for target practice. One day I decided to see just how far UP an arrow would fly. Of course, I was standing under it, watching it fly. And of course, the arrow turned around and headed back down to mother earth. Straight up and straight down means it was going to occupy it's original starting point. I also occupied the original starting point. By the time I figured it out, and jumped out of the way, it also occured to me I was standing with my back to the shed. Arrow stuck about a foot from me in the ground, buried halfway up the shaft. btw I'm a Novell/SuSe geek, so ping me if you have any questions. |
