I'm going on a trip with a friend, that is going to ride the '99 M2. He wants to add a more sizable windscreen to minimize fatigue. Can anyone recommend a screen that we can bolt on for a trip, and remove and put the fly screen back on? |

I once was going to try a Blast screen but I did not want to modify My stock bike that much. It could be done though. Just have Him wear wrap around glasses or goggles if it does not work. |

Fasted you should really give him the part #. And how you got it to mount. And maybe price? |

I found an X1 fly screen made a surprising difference on my M2. It's taller and more vertical, so it pushed the wind up towards my chest and shoulders, rather than taking it in the gut like I did with the M2 screen. Those Givi screens sure do look nice in matching paint. |

not sure of the part #...bought it used for $50 on the bay....i think their catalog is online. it hooks onto headlight mounts and handlebars with included hardware. i will not go back to the stock piece, as this screen makes ANY riding at speed more comfortable. a five hour interstate trip at 75mph beat me to death compared to the same time behind this screen. it would look better if painted to match, but my cash has gone elsewhere |

You might can find the model # by looking on their web-site, and they have mounting instructions for the different models too: http://www.givi.ca/en/instructions_vue.php?id=1 |

If it helps, do an ebay search for: GIVI UNIVERSAL FLAT BLACK WINDSCREEN / WINDSHIELD A760N It's a universal Givi windscreen for $239 plus $19 shipping. It looks just like the one in Fasted's picture. I couldn't find one for $50. For some reason trying to paste the link wouldn't work. |

Has anyone tried fitting a S3T windscreen to an M2? |

"bolt right up" being a relative term? If one has the brackets and etc, it would bolt right up? The brackets, and especially the etc. is what gives me pause. Sometimes the screen is for sale on eBay without any mounts, and sometimes the bracket is on sale without any hardware. If I were to do this, I would get a parts manual for an S3T. |

A Firebolt fairing can also be mounted on an M2.
