I know there is the upcoming Buell S2 gathering in Arkansas, but for those that might have an extra weekend, or you live on the West side of the country, here is something for you. Death Valley gathering for Buell S2's. March 24th, we are going to meet around Death Valley. Come on in for Dinner on Saturday night, March 24th. Or meet us in the area on Friday night, Saturday morning, or Sunday morning. More details to come...Jon from Northern Cal will be riding his Blue Buell s2. I will be there on my white S2, and possibly Jack Van voast on his red S2.....? we will see. this is unofficial. a destination ride. REX |

This is a ride of S2's and some other worthy makes and models. Not exclusive at all. FWIW, Death Vally is worth the price of admission. It is massively expansive, peaceful in it's stark bareness and handsome and stately in all of that. Lot's to do in terms of places to ride, great roads and not touristy at all until you get to certain places. Outside of the Valley we camp out in a small town called Beatty. It's a sleepy place where you can get great hearty food and a cheap motel. Truthfully, we ride, eat, or do nothing. My kind of vacation. Come along and do your own thing, there is no set program. I'll be smoking cigars, imbibing some and chatting with friends. Meeting details to follow. Rex will be riding in from Arizona and the rest of the ASBN clan from California. |

I will add that this is a destination ride. So you get there on your own or ride with others as you can work it out. Some folks have their own schedule and do their own thing. This is not really any kind of a sponsored ride, just a ride of friends and fellow enthusiasts. |

Gmaan03, Dates are the 4th weekend in March either starting on the thursday or friday and ending either on Sunday or Monday. We should have this sorted out in a day or so, but the weekend is definitely the 4th weekend. |

Death Valley riding is definitely a high for the year. Of course meeting with other Buell riders at the ghost town, is something you do not want to miss. |

Is that a wind powered bike or something? |

No, it's a serious work effort on Alan's part to participate in Craig Vetter's MPG races and research. And I will say that Alan is a crack rider who takes this galleon anywhere, anytime with no adverse impact on his ability to ride. Amazing really. He got a lot of stares from cagers on the way home. |

He has a big head, like the Jack in the box guy. that is where he stores his helmet when he parks the bike. |
