Hows it going fellow tubers, Last summer i bought a 99 M2. I had a blast with the bike all season, but now im looking for more top end without going crazy on the mods. So i just found a good deal on screamin eagle drop in cams. I believe they are the same cams that came stock in the X1's. Does anyone have suggestions on jet sizes and mufflers, or combinations. The bike has the stock cv 40 with a forcewinder intake. no other mods. And heres a picture of the bike!

With that air intake alone it should have been re-jetted and the A/F mixture adjusted. i have a 00M2 and run an open air intake and i have mine jetted with a 46 slow, 200 main, and A/F out 2 3/4.stock muffler. Not sure what you would need with a cam and new pipe. Maybe someone else who has a more modded bike will chime in. Sorry I can only tell you what I have in mine. |

X1 cams would be the Andrews N4's I'm running N8's with the Buell Race exhaust (and race kit) and it works just fine. They are still out there on eBay if you look. |

I run a 200 main and a 45 slow for my jetting. I love the Supertrapp on my bike now, the race can or the Borla slip-on, or another seldom used tune-able pipe is the White brothers e-series. Those would be my favorite pipes. Others here like the Force, and the D&D, I find those pipes to be too loud, and kind of offensive. |
