Anybody got experience with this? I have access to a welder, and don't mind making brackets or supports as needed |

Soft all the way. No bracketry required. Easily completely removable. No contest for me. The OEM model M2 Cyclone bags are excellent if you can find a set. Similar aftermarket alternatives exist as well. |

Well the 'easiest' might be the factory soft-side bags. Canvas rhombohedrons (?) connected by a 'throw-over' strap that goes under the seat. There is a little metal bracket that goes with it, but I can't tell that it does anything. I would bet about any kind of slanty-rectangular throw-over bags would go on fairly easy. |

If you just need a small amount of stuff, Buell Blast bags look very nice and can be made to fit without much effort. I like them on my M2. |

If you're looking for something sporty and kind of roomy, I got the Cortech Sport system and like it. easy and fast setup. Two panniers. http://www.bobscycle.com/browse.cfm/4,65468.html Tail bag. http://www.bobscycle.com/browse.cfm/4,65466.html |

Yah, it you aren't carrying a passenger, a back seat bag, they can hold as much as a saddlebag. Add a tankbag too. With all of them, like four saddlebags' worth of storage. (Message edited by jayvee on January 30, 2012) |

If you're looking for a cheaper alternative, have a look at the Chase Harper offerings. |

I have the S3 fairing bracket put on my M2. I run the S3 bags, both wide and narrow. I also have the S3 fairing and tank on my M2. Love it. REX |

There's also the Ventura rack system. About the only one made to fit M2. I have the low-bar rack, the high-bar rack, and the grab handle. But none of their bags, any ol' backpack works about as well. The high-bar works good to tie a back-seat bag to. Like a GI duffle bag! |

I second the Ventura pack system. I have the same as Jayvee, all racks and grab handle. I have the large bag and it's very well made, even has reflectors. http://www.ventura-mca.com/fitments/Buell/75-m2_cy clone.aspx http://www.americansportbike.com/shoponline/ccp0-p rodshow/5752.html Pricey though. |
