Well i have been working on my bike some more. Cant leave this thing alone and Nwrider and probably most buell owners can agree with me on how addicting they are. I want to give a HUGE thank you to Michael (Nwrider) for providing me with what i needed to build a new tail section. Love the look of Michael's single tube tail section, but didnt want to exactly copy his, so we both had something different and unique. Well this is what i came up with. it came in a bunch of pieces... so this is what it turned into. Also built a tray to hold all the electronics as well. all the wiring tucked up under the seat It gives the bike a shorter look but allows the used of the factory seat. Still need to make a undertray for it. I have a piece of black PVC plastic cut out for it but may do something in aluminum.

Very nice. The only two changes I'd have made would be using tubing the same diameter as the main frame, and having the lower tail tube drop "open" at the very back so you had room to stick an LED tail/brake light in between. Excellent execution of the undertail and wiring, not to mention the XB suspension, wheels, oil cooler, and front end. It's a tuber. It's a CityX. It's a tuber. It's a ...what the hell IS it?? Love it! |

Once again, very envious of what you've come up with for your bike. The tail frame fits the bike better than the original design. At the rate you're going it will morf itself to an XB...heh heh heh.Still, love the color scheme of it and this latest addition adds to it.Lt |
