At some point during one of my insomnia fueled archive browsing sessions I saw a thread or post about using sealed bearings in a X1 swingarm....it involved part numbers. Now I can't find it, would anyone happen to know what I'm talking about? When I pulled the bearings out of the swingarm I plan to install on my S1W there was what I can only describe as hay stuck to the grease inside the swingarm....no ideas how it got in there but I like the idea of sealed bearings anyway I'm guessing that if you use a sealed bearing then you don't need the outer seal either? Thanks |
