Does anybody know where one gets a replacement for the "wire" side of the IAT sensor? Mine is pretty beat having been in the force winder setup for 5 or 6 years.
I'm switching to the ham can style air box and while I can reuse this one, I was wondering if it is relatively easy to replace. Is this a Deutsch Connector? Something I could get from Batt's Racing? |

...just looked at mine('00 X-1) and you can either go to a Ford dealership and take the IAT sensor with you and they can match up the "wire" end with two pig tails or go to a parts store(same scenerio) and have them look up in their accessories catalog for electrical connectors(..how do i know?)...been there, done that both ways.Hope that helps you.Just make sure you solder and shrink tube the wire connections(for the best secured attachment).LT PS...Purpony did that on his X-1 but it was the actual IAT sensor that he did use. |

Lt, Thanks I did have the shrink tube on there before. Just got tired of stalling out in heavy rain with the forcewinder. Hopefully the ham can deals with the elements better. |
