Hey Guys... I may have somethin in the works.. S2 mirrors are somewhat available... 45-60 day waiting period I am in the process of a possible order.. Quantity would determine cost.. How many of you would want a set or 2? I would need a solid commitment from you in order for me to do this for Us.. I am awiting a second reply from the Manufacturer FAR... Ok...Thats 6 sets.. I will contact him and see how we can do this...We may be able to go to him each direct and pay as each set may cost different on shipping depending on where we all live.. Message to Henri below. Henri... Looks like we would like to order in 6 sets of the Buell s2 mirrors ... I think once you have them it would be best if each person contacted you directly to pay for them and to get there own ship cost as we are all scattered across the country..USA and Canada.. You can notify me when they arrive and i will get the ball in motion for payments etc... You may want to order in a few more extra sets as im sure they will sell to other members... 1 of the sets is for Court Canfield who was involved in the making of thee Buells with Erik and is still very actively involved in these great machines....He gave me the tip to contact You. Hank: I'm not certain. Dave G would more likely have dealt with mirror folks. That's a good solution and if he orders a dozen or two I'll bet we'd be able to speak for many of them. Good idea ordering before August. Italy will be closed for the month. They are smart folks!! | ||

Guess we are SOL on the mirrors guys...N/A. See note from FAR rep, The FAR factory replies : There is no stock of FAR 608/609, and no parts to make them up. I suggest you take the similar Buell mirror 338/339 and modify the 40mm mounts I will provide to fit the boot. Take some of the Alu material off the mount to fit the boot on 338/339. Thank you.... I bought a set of NOS S2 mirrors to cure the droopy mirror syndrom on my bike. The new mirrors where drooping in less than a year. I installed Vmax mirrors and haven't had a problem. | ||

I would like some blinkers. I came home last night from a trip, and one of my blinkers on the front was broken off. One of the kids must have bumped it, and didn't tell me. If not too late, add me to the list of blinkers. let me know if we need to give the money up front. REX | ||

I dropped my 95 S2 in the driveway before heading to a Buell rally last weekend. Stupid driveway.....Stupid Frank...... Anyone see why those mirrors Wilson posted would not work? I would rather not have the integrated turn signals but maybe I will try a set. | ||

Interesting incident recently... I cracked the right mirror on my son's S2. I had it flipped up to get it out of the way, the brake lever hit it when parked and turned to the left.... oops.. Andy Nelson was placing an order for parts and ordered me a mirror to see if it was still available. It was.... It arrived in a sealed box, sure enough, inside was a pristine new mirror! A LEFT SIDE MIRROR!!! Box was labeled correctly, sealed, correct part # everything. Box had wrong part inside. Dealer ordered another one to see it the same thing happens.. Brad |
