Does anyone have a good online resource for tuber parts? I am talking standard factory repair / replacement parts... Not mods and upgrades.

A.S.B. stocks many factory parts, or will order them for you if you need.

Otherwise you can use the Sponsoring dealerships for this site, they're all very accommodating and wouldn't still be into Buell, if they weren't still into Buell... that is to say, those that aren't in any longer got out of the bikes for a reason, as did those that stayed in.

I like Zac in Colorado (High Country HD?Buell), and Ft_bastard in TN (& Tom Bumpus, Bumpus HD/Buell) are enthusiastic about Buell.

I've not dealt with any of the others personally yet.

Americansportbike.com or lake shore HD. If you have a parts book for your bike model then you can use lake shore HD online storefront and also receive a 20% discount off msrp.

here is the link:

LSHD doesnt have the part (I called) and pretty much no one else around here does...

I didnt think American Sport Bike did OEM parts. I can't see anything on their web page about it.

I would rather buy this from someone out of state so I at least dont have to pay for sales tax and off-set the shipping cost a little.

*** Update ***

LSHD requires a minimum purchase... I am afraid my $8 bearing will fall far short.

Why don't you take it to a bearing house they should be able to match it up pretty easy. A bearing is just a bearing. There should be some numbers stamped on the bearing.

I thought of that too.

Thanks for the help guys. If I had time to take my bike apart and run all over town looking for parts I would be doing it.

I was looking for a ON LINE OEM parts dealer. I place where I could go to such-and-such.com, search for part number 8885, click "buy it now' and have it sent to me. It looks like such a place does not exist.

I can't believe an $8 part is so hard to get.

Back to the drawing board

You should be able to match that bearing at Napa by part# stamped on it. Timken is a quality bearing mfg.

I'm assuming its a roller or ball bearing of course.

Which bearing? Maybe someone here has one in a box and can get you the bearing pn# so you can grab it at a local supply.

I got the three wheel bearings for my back wheel from a place called Kaman Bearing for about half the dealership price. Wouldn't have checked but they told me they'd have to oder the bearings, and how much it would be.

"Which bearing?"

"part number 8885" I posted that a few posts above.

Thanks guys. As I said, this post was about finding an online shopping cart for OEM parts. It appears that such a thing does not exist from American Sport Bike to any dealerships.
