Anyone have any experience with one of those progressive shift lights that american sports bike lists on their website? This one: http://www.americansportbike.com/shoponline/ccp0-p rodshow/16122.html I have a 2000 M2 that I wanted to put it on, they must have gotten confused on my order as the sent the curved instead of the straight. I had ordered the straight version initially as I thought someone had posted somewhere here (can't find it anymore) that the straight version works better on the tube frames. Personally I'm indifferent to the curved* vs straight if it works just as well, does anyone know if theres anything to the theory that one version working better then another before I bother trying to have it exchanged? *Its pouring outside so I haven't gone out to eye up if the curved version fits with stock wind screen. |

Mrpeanut: Read the SPEC's, IMHO "i" would keep it ... In the day before SHIFT LITE's the tach. SHIFT RPM was set straight up so when you looked over the handlebars down the TRACK the needle went straight up you shifted ... Set the shift lite as above so as you look over it down the track and it blinks(comes on) you shift ... Set your SHIFT RPM at 6800 RPM, now if you are still running the 6500 RPM OEM module, set the shift rpm at 6300 RPM !!! |
