Gavin, My friend and I talked with one of his new marketing people whom we met yesterday at a bike get together (he had brought a new 1190RS with him). He told us that the colored bikes are the fiberglass ones and are about $4000 less than the CF bikes We talked about hoe they are working on dealers now to see who wants to carry their new product. Suprisingly there are quite a few HD dealerships still interested in selling Erik Buell Racing bikes......But they are open to any who are interested. We talked about a bike for you and me (cost wise), he was confident we would see something in the next 10 to 14 months......something in the 1125+cc category. He said bikes are being sold almost as soon as they are built and are meeting the orders with no issues. Eric said hi as he signed our shirts but he was busy so he didn't stay to chat....I asked about how Jeff May was doing and he said they are making steady progress every week and getting ready for the last race of the season Labor day weekend, I can't wait.....Should be a great race. | ||
