Hey guys,
Where do you find your buell part numbers? I need the number for the diaphragm in the accelerator pump, unless anyone knows a better source for that part than an hd dealer... Thanks! (again) Frank

According to the 2000-2001 parts book, the number listed is "27361-76 diaphragm, accelerator pump"

Hey Truth (Frank), You did not know you could own a Buell parts book all yourself. You may find one here or Ebay. A service manual and parts manual are a must unless you take your bike in for everything.

"i" product improved my carburetor by removing the accelerator pump ...

If you can not stay the cam, you should not be riding a BUELL ...

I found a bunch of them on ebay by searching "Buell parts" kind of bummed actually, I spent $45 on an X1 book a few months ago cause I couldn't find any, now there's plenty listed for a lot less.

BUELLers:

If you do not have the FACTORY SERVICE MANUAL and PARTS BOOK for you YEAR/MODEL you should try to get them before they go out of print ...

Eventually it will get to the point that the names and part numbers will become very important when looking for parts ...

EVEN the ANTI-BUELL Harley-Davidson STEALERSHIPS will start saying they have no parts for BUELLs ...

"BUT" if the part number out of your parts book is a Harley-Davidson part number they
can get it for you ...

Guys,
I have a service manual, but no part numbers are in it. How does the carb perform without the accelerator pump? Would I just remove the diaphragm and actuating rod? Thanks!!! Frank R.

In the long run it is cheaper to buy the aftermarket kit , about $13, inlet seals to float bowl .

Truth:

The CARBURETOR performs better with the accelerator removed with better gas mileage ...

Mine has been off since 1997 on my 97 S3T and it has 110,772.1 miles on it as of the last ride ...

Buellistic,
Does it affect power? How does one remove it? Do I remove the diaphragm and actuating rod? Or do I have to I have to remove the nozzle and plug both holes? Thanks! Frank.
