Well my shock that was rebuilt 3000k ago just blew out! CRAP CRAP CRAP! I would be really mad (four craps!) but since I like to tinker it will give me something to do..... |

I am going to need a rebuild soon. My bro had one go and said he couldn't find anyone to do it and bought a used one. If possible I would like to rebuild myself. If not, does anyone know who can do it? |

Mine is at race tech right now, they said it would cost $150-200 depending on what parts it needed. And about 5-7 days in the shop before they send it back to me. 4 days to go, cant wait! |

That racetech quote is the best I have heard yet. Perhaps I need to move on this. Let us know how they do, OK? |

Got my shock back from Racetech. I am no longer riding a Buell pogo stick. $159.95 for basic rebuild, plus shipping both ways another $30.00. Feels like a new bike, we'll see how long it lasts!? And it ended up taking two full weeks there and back, not to bad. |

Yeah I just sent mine to them to see if it will last longer than the last guys who rebuilt it. |

If you don't mind me asking where did you send it last time for the rebuild? |

I would rather not say. I am not doubting their work, they warned me that it might go bad again, but I want to see if Race Tech will do something that might last longer. They were reasonable on price and lead time, plus they were local (kinda)Super nice guys! I am going to have them rebuild my front forks soon. |

Race Tech did mine about a year ago. It's been great so far. Can't beat the price either. |
