Robert, thanks. I did that today, I actually remembered the values from a while ago. There is one HD shop near us here and the support was as expected. Looks like jack has a bad stator, after they did a test and said it was ok. At least jack has a brand new battery (2 of them) and a brand new VR (from the early 90s by the look of the box) Tonight is the dinner that the host (spiderman) setup and I am sure it will be great as everything has been so far. Nothing like hanging out with a bunch of "like minded, free thinkers" Frank |

Frank, Jack, Thanks for the great update. Frank, really glad to hear you missed all the rain stuff, it sure looked dodgy from the radar maps. There is no question in my mind that the 30amp breaker was part of the problem. It really looks bad. I'll post a pic when I get a chance. Just back from day one of the Art Fair. Man, what an experience. It hit about 88 today but humid as hell. Tomorrow is suppose to top the ton and still humid as hell. There are all sorts of heat warnings and such.. Even today the sweat factor was through the roof, tomorrow is really going to be interesting. I was pretty happy with the results of the day. My stock was reduced by about 1/4. That is a good thing! Maybe I can get my garage back from the flower demons. However despite all the good goings on of today here, I wish I was hanging with you guys. Thanks for the updates, I really appreciate them. Here is Ed buzzing along...... Here's my bike.... the new battery went dead....(thanks to all that helped)......we pushed it to a ATV store about a 100 yds from were we stopped for gas. Installed a new snowmobile battery.....(the same size) and rode back to the motel. Mike rode to the Harley dealer and picked up a regulator...........didn't help. The stater "checked" out fine, but only putting out 3+ volts. So a new stator on Monday. Everyone with there Christmas in July ignition cover. |

Excellent pictures Jack! Someone there has to be sure to get some pics of Jack... You even got a shot of Donny the wonder Wiener. BTW, he really took a fancy to you and Frank. He stood at the door and whined when you left.. I like the one with Frank standing behind the bike. That's a nice shot.. Lynn would like that one. Tony, what's the stuff you are spraying on the fender in the last pic on Jack's site? |

Great pics Spidy. I stopped in Hampton IA last night. I got beat up pretty good by the roads in WI, the roads in MN, the wind and the heat....... My god.... The heat is increadable. I am packing to head into NE today. My goal is somewhere around Grand Island, NE...... Shane, I sure enjoyed riding with you. I had a grand time at the gathering. Frank |

Frank , be cautious with the heat. It really saps moisture out of a guy. The last rest area I a stopped at was AC and I didn't want to leave. Had a grand time at the rally. Great company, Great food. Great rides. Shane |

I am know at a rest area in IA which the rest of the country could learn from. Ac, Internet, water etc. Time to fill the water and point the S2 toward Omaha which is less than 100 miles west. It is already hot. |
