My 98 came with stock mirrors that are broke. I was told that firebolt mirrors can be made to fit, so I ordered them. Not sure if I want to enlarge the mounting holes to fit because I'm concerned about mirror adjustments. I'd like to see behind me and not my knees or wrists...anyone have made this work? |

Is the glass broken or the actual mirrors? If the glass is the problem, you can go to a mirror/glass place and they'll fit new mirrors. How I happen to know is I was cruising between lanes (legal in CA) and hit a pick-up's mirror brace and popped out the mirror and it broke on my hand. |

Nope, the previous owner monkeyed the housings. I got the firebolt mirrors to fit. Will have to do a road test once I get the bike done. Otherwise, I'm finding more Triumph parts that work. |

Here's a link to a thread about retrofitting snowmobile mirrors to an S2 (may or may not be applicable to an S3...) http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/384 2/9838.html |
