yeah, it happened, early Saturday morning my White Lightning was stolen from outside my apartment. Filed a police report, posted an ad on CL. Can't hardly think straight right now. I would think it would be a bitch to unload such a unique bike without being noticed, even parted out. I've tried to consider every possible scenario as to where it might end up, either across the border or just down the street, but i just don't know..   | ||

Wow, sorry to hear this. Was on a 2,318 trip and saw one exactly like yours, but a chrome V&H exhaust in Indiana, between Angola and LaPorte. Talked to the guy, '98 with around 11,000 on the clock. Said his GF wants him to sell it. He will not sell it. Paid $3,200 for it 4 years ago. Goes by the name of Keith. Was stopped to buy a pack of smokes. Hard to replace a love like that James. I'll keep my eyes open around these parts and will be checking the local CraigLists too. | ||

Insurance? I know it wont get YOUR bike back, but at least you wouldnt be without a bike at all Sorry to hear about your motorcycle, thats got to be one of the worst feelings. My father had a motorcycle stolen at Daytona. It was a really sick bike (built motor with n2o and a blower, nothing stock on it, beautiful), but it is what led me here - he knew I didnt like riding his shovel, so he got me my first buell, my S3. |
