hi there i have been looking around the board trying to find some placement for my iat sensor besides the forcewinder filter. i have not found any straight forward answers,, where is the best place to put the sensor for an x1??? thanks |

My mothers granddad was born there and in 1861 at the start of the Civil War as a 10 year old boy he shot his first deer with a .36 caliber flintlock,and had the antlers mounted, the mount(quite small by today's standards) but at the time quite impressive as it helped with feeding the family. I still have it hanging in the den with many others. If you want I'll take a pic of it and post later. |

but please is there any recommend POSITION to put the IAT sensor in besides stock or in the filter or a forcewinder. i think that might be mt problem with running lean in the rear cylinder. |

I have mine mounted on the frame right next to the ECM plug. It reads a few degrees higher than ambient but not enough to cause any issues, so far. |
