ok i just ordered head temp sensor o2 sensor and front iso from american sportbike. |

Neil: Make sure, once you remove the engine temp sensor, that you use compressed air to blow out the area. Small stones get in there and can tear up the sensor head if you screw into them. If you haven't ordered the engine temp sensor socket from American Sport Bike (it's $20), you should. It has a slot built into it for the connector cable. my buddy is a hd master mechanic and a buell enthusiast so he will have it.. thanks i do not know if it is bad but i might as well replace it .. |

Another thing Neil: When you get your order, use some channel locks or something similar, and break the back end off of the O2 sensor. This way, you can, then, easily get a 22mm or 7/8" socket on it for removal. |

Tried that, doesn't work. There is no way you can get a socket on it, crow's foot 22mm yes, on there with the back end and cable in the way. O2 sensors are a maintenance item. No big deal at $30. (Message edited by two_seasons on July 17, 2011) |

oops i meant i used a 7/8 wrench when it came loose and it worked.(i had to cut the wrench in half but it has worked for me when it was loose.) |
