I siphoned some fuel for the mower from my bike and discovered water in the fuel.
A perished fuel cap O ring.flat and cracked.
It's not an easy task cleaning water from the fuel tank.
Complicated by fuel injection because special pressure hose clamps are needed.
Unfortunately there are no Buell hose clamps Q0115.0 in Australia.
Has anyone any suggestions for an alternative type of hose clamp?

Ps. Check Your Fuel Cap O Ring

Use a good fuel dry product like Heat or BG Fuel Dry. A good product will absorb water, suspend it in the gas and allow it to burn without running issues. Also helps with Ethanol water absorbsion.

I'm with Bpt on this one.

Order a new O-ring from American Sport Bike or your HD dealer and in the meantime put some type of gas dry in the tank and run it completely out.

Keep it covered and don't ride in the rain until you get the new O-ring.

Thank you all.I removed the FLANGE,fuel cap assembly and drained the water, about two cups full then rinsed with fuel.I went to rice burner dealer and acquired their hose clamps for fuel injection. Also I adjusted the nut to increase pressure to the O-RING, fuel cap for a better seal.
I wonder how long the water was in there, the fuel filter must be able to prevent water entering the injectors.
