are you talking about the covers that go over the axle nut? I am working with someone right now that is making a set of rear sliders for a tuber that cover the axle nuts... |

I think they're all gone. A set on e-bay went for $150 and we all started grabbing up the leftovers. I found a rear set in Alabama and when I called the woman laughed and said that they hadn't moved a set in months and they started the week with 14 and I got the next to last. I believe they were like $40 shipped. Good luck, I believe I did see a whole set on e-bay while I was looking for X1 stuff. That's probably going to be your best bet. |

I figured they would be hard to find. There's got to be an alternative out there. |

Yes, there is a guy on buellxb that makes sliders for the XBs..and is working on sliders for tubers. I sent him my spare rear axle for mockup and suggested he make them to work as a cover... just waiting on them... probably a week or to and when they are finished and tested, ill post up. |

I had the covers with a little Pegasus on the front axle, but talk about "useless weight", and it's unsprung at that. I was going for maximum Pegusi at the time. I got these sliders for the rear, from Twin MC, but haven't put on yet. I often use a steel bar through the rear axle with a couple of jackstands for a cheap rear lift. At least these are potentially functional, although one hopes not.
