Just got a 99 M2 about a week ago. Have not rode it yet except when unloading off the truck and pulling it around the building. The horn wasn't working so I fixed that today. I was messing and noticed that after starting and letting it idle, when I shifted the gears it cuts off. I put it back in neutral and it fires right back up. Does this sound like the clutch needs adjusting or some kind of sensor or idle issue? It didn't do this when I got it that I noticed. Also feels like the bike is only going in 3 gears. It's hard to tell sitting in the drive way but with it cutting out I am a little leary about riding it to make sure. |

Does it jerk forward when you put it in gear? If not, do u have the kickstand down? It has a kickstand safety switch. |
