I'm wondering what would be the best exhaust pipe for a 97 S3 with a big bore kit(90cid). |

I'd say a kt, kooks, force, or possibly a buell pro series |

Kevin, I think that Force made an exhaust designed for bigger bore motors. But I could be wrong. Hope all is well, and if youre going to Atco then I wish you much success |

Yes they do and it's LOUD! I've got the regular Force on mine. You can also get it from Nallin Racing. Heres a clip of the big bore exhaust. http://youtu.be/2MrqMHPsIVQ Heres mine. http://youtu.be/m8MhnAnIk78 |

KT is a good pipe but no longer available. kooks make big power but ground clearance is sub par. The force makes big power but is very loud. It won't pass the sound tests at many roadrace tracks. The force also is prone to reversion in the bottom of the powerband, which causes a TQ dip. The Pro Series in my opinion has none of these issues but it is also no longer available. They can be had but you need to search for them. The D&D is available as is the Supertrapp slipon. |

Back in the day, the Pro Series (header and muffler) was the best overall system you could get (usable power, acceptable sound, durability). There are others that made more peak power, but failed in the other areas. A lot of time was spent on the dyno getting that system just right. If you can get your hands on an old issue of Battle2Win, they did a review of everything that was available back then (the pool has not grown). It was a great rag and I really miss it. Oversized, every page glossy print and the articles and tests were all honest and aimed at the consumer. Good luck.. Zen |

I love the KT pipe, and have three of them. I've tried all the combinations and KT (seat of the pants) is the best pipe for my s1W and s3. Oh yeah it sounds bad ass and loud too |

I like the set up that's on my S1W, it's the Kooks Header and muffler. It has a great tone and it looks gorgeous! |
