Soon soccer tourneys will start and the weekends will be eaten up quickly. Last time I wend east, towards Portland through the hills. This time I went west towards the valley. Actually went towards Forest Grove, where I went to high school. The destination was Maggies Buns! Up early in Helvatia The back way to North Plains Old general store out by Roy Old house outside Forest Grove. Any takers? Downtown Forest Grove Maggie's Buns! MMMM! After the wonderful breakfast, I swung by the first apartment my wife and I got together 15 years ago. Wow, it has been a long time. Looks almost the same though. Had to get home after that so no more pics but what a beautiful morning . The plate was too thin so I made one from thicker 6061 and carbon fiber. I made a spacer from 1" thick 6061 and covered in in 1/8" of urethane for vibration dampening. I was thinking how nice that scenery looked and then I saw you're in Portland. I used to live in Seattle and actually lived in Astoria for a while. Can I ask what you had for breakfast? Over here (UK) it would be a big plate of eggs, bacon, bread, sausages and a few other unhealthy fried offerings, plus a big mug of tea, but I don't recognise what you have there. Inside was good but had to remove some of the cheese.
