Author Message   Ustorque Posted on Tuesday, May 31, 2011 - 07:34 pm:        Well over the last weekend I got rid of my very much loved '06 XB9SX and bought a 2000 S3. Boy oh boy what a difference! I was concerned that i was giving up an amazing bike for something that could turn out to be a terrible mistake. Well today was my first day on the new beast and all i can say is, WOW! I thought I was the last tool that was using one of these. The mounting hardware blows but the pipe itself is awesome. I ended up brazing my mounting hardware directly to the muffler because they would rattle loose all the time. May put it on another bike again some day. One thing on the new S3, keep an eye on that shock. It will probably start leaking... They all did. That is the stock recall shock with the SRP in place.
