Hello all. I have had many motorcycles but this is my 1st buell. I picked up a rolling chassis of a 2000 M2L. In order to get a preview of the bike I installed empty sportster cases, it seems very low and the front shock mount is stamped "West Tek" the front forks are aprox 5" from the bottom triple clamp to the top of the outer fork tube. The rear shock is just under 15" Can I raise this by changing the front mount only? sorry for the bad pic.

To answer your question. Yes. The WestTek shock bracket was made to lower the rear even more, that is if I'm remembering correctly. |

No, your front forks are the Low model if it's an M2L. You could always just do the USD Showa conversion...They're only $250 on eBay new right now. But then you'll need to either bore out your current triples, get some X1 triples, and an X1/S1/S3/S2 front fender. |

Well I do have a nice complete GSXR front end here that may end up on the M2. I just need to find the right bearings. |
