Last weekend I had a blast when discovering a total new route up a mountain, down a mountain trough a valley, and back, about 110 miles of fun. Really exciting riding with long sweepers at fairly high speed. When I took a potty break after a long stretch of 85mph or so and turned off the bike, I noticed that some brownish fuel was leaking out of the carburetor overflow down on the motor. I wonder if that would be considered "normal" after spirited riding or an indication of something not being the way it should be. My carburetor has been jetted perfectly, and the whole machine runs like a Swiss watch. On a related note, I wonder if any of you can recommend a good kit to reroute the crankcase breather tubes from the cylinders away from the carburetor and into a can. I'm not looking for the cheapest solution, I'm looking for the most elegant one. Thanks! |
