Haha yeah, probably. By thought is simple- If I can spend $10-15 on bushing to find one that works, then I can post up here for others to be able to not go through the same. And if I fail....well I'm only out $10-15! |

I ordered four sets from Twin as spares, and it only came out to 50.00 US so that is not to bad. |

Has there been a search done on HDnet for stock in the US? Apologies if I missed something... |

I read on an old post that someone used a polyurethane shock bushing and it did not melt. Someone just take measurements of the bracket and post them here. If I had a bracket to measure I'd do it. Measurements needed: -Inside diameter of front mount hole. -Thickness (width )of front mount hole. -size of the stock mounting bolt that goes into the steel sleeve in the middle of the bushing. Thanks |

andy here is a suggestion, and it might be a bad one, parts are different. But when I was looking for the rear bushings none were showing up in stock anywhere in the country. I had, by chance, an old part number and had them search that - boom, plenty popped up. It is possible (POSSIBLE) that the PN has changed. Maybe an old Buell dealer has some of them listed as the old number, never got any new stuff in etc Its worth a shot It worked for me for the rear exhaust bushings |

From what I have found, there is only 1 part number....which is discontinued and superseded by the Y bracket at $100+. |

Dyno: Are any of those just the Z-bracket? |

Chauly - I think those are all for the front bracket, not the Z |

I just bought a Y hanger from a fellow Badwebber, so I will sell two of the sets of bushings I ordered from Twin whenever they show up. They should be less then 15.00 for a set plus shipping, if I ended up getting them for what I think I did |

My bushings I ordered from Twin came in today, I will sell two sets for 15.00 each plush shipping if anyone is interested, that is what they cost me. That is really quick shipping considering it came through the mail internationally. |

^^^that's a good deal, and if anyone needs bushings, I'd jump on it. For me...well I had Bumpus run that whole list of part numbers (thanks Dynosaur!), ad HDNet showed 2 part numbers were available at 2 different dealers, and 1 part number was available at 2...so 4 total in the system. LJ called the 4 dealers and 3 of them were inventory errors....but he got us a set from the fourth- in theory, the last set in the US! The bracket is chewed up on the side tho, I PM'd you Steve....send me that bracket please! |
