I have a 97 M2 with a force winder and a vance and hines slip on what kind of jets should i be running? there seems to be some bogging and back fireing at start up |

(1) you should warm up your bike before you take off. That being said, if it's back firing out the carb, too lean. Back firing out the pipe, too rich.You don't abj. a carb. on a cold engine, if it doesn't do it after it's warmed up(leave it alone, your being impatient) Base adj. would be 2 1/2 turns on fuel mixture screw, 45 sj...190 main...shim needle 40 to 50 thousands.(all of this is ball park) And keep a new set of plugs handy in case none of this works. |

Thank you i appreciate the help 1 more question is were the drain plug for the primary is located as well as a rough estimate of how much fluid goes in thanks again for the info and help |
