Author Message   Nein_collins Posted on Monday, March 21, 2011 - 02:54 pm:        Hey guys, I'm picking up a Supertrapp thru my job for my X1, it will be here in about a week. I had(still have though off the bike) a Vance and Hines pipe on it which destroyed itself at the rear mount. I'm upgrading to the new front hanger (backorder at asb) and I have to get a new z-bracket for the rear. Now, my service manual shows 2 little rubber isolators to hold that z-bracket on, which asb has on backorder with about 16 people waiting for them with no idea of actually getting them. Do I need them still? I'm guessing the v&h mounts did away with those and for me to have a complete set up I need em. Anyone know of a suitable replacement not from Harley? I can find the parts over seas but the place that has em doesn't ship to the us or canada.. any help guys?? The CF v&h i had only lasted 700 miles and melted and blew out. Found (NIB) in some warehouse and paid $525.00. 0 warranty! I loved that slip on though, It was so light and loud. The Vance & Hines mount should have been bolted on to those mounts.
