I am about to pull the trigger on a 2000 s3 with about 10k on it. seems to have been preloved. can anyone think of anything I should be looking for or concerned about. I have been told the recalls are done. Thanks in advance!!! |

If it starts, idles, accelerates, shifts and stops well then you have nothing to worry about.... |

Ask about the chain tensioner...It wasn't a recall, but it needs to be replaced if it hasn't been. It's a $20 part. No big deal if it isn't done yet, but it's something you shouldn't put off doing. |

Didn't the 2000's already have the updated tensioner? |

I have about 40k miles on mine, a daily driver and weekly warrior. I have had no problems that I didn't create myself. |
