alright guys, so i have a M2 with an areocharger. The stock CV carb is off. What is probably my best bet? Mikuni 45 or S&S B? please be patient with me, Im normally turnin a wrench on a Cummins Diesel so i dont know the details yet of what i need. I do have a mallory 4309 FPR to hook up on the lines. and a fuel pump, havent looked to see if its workin or what model it is. I havent read through the turbo install instructions to see what they say, but i know this CV carb will not cut it with the boost. Im looking for the right carb, fuel pump, and fuel regulator. and then i want to know if i should even bother with the little switch that will change what level of boost the FPR is seeing or if i should set it and forget it? and if i dont like where this is goin, ill be interested in tradin the turbo for a big bore if that interestes any one. Thanks guys. email is Loganroy87@gmail.com incase you need to reach me fast. |

PM answered. And Mik is the answer. That switch came on the HD set-up, Buells did not use it, was supposed to be a hi/lo boost switch. IIRC it bled off some signal to limit boost. And that turbo running well will out perform ANY big bore kit!!! Made 175 with the 1250 and 177 with smaller Aerocharger and 88" bike. |
