I've been trying to contact them several times, via email and over the phone, but no response at all either way. any of you knows for sure if they're still in the biz? cause I can place my order over the website but I really don't trust sending money to God knows who! |

They probably are still in business, unfortunatly they are the worst company in the world, inept in all matters business, clueless and lazy. If you haven't ordered off them count yourself very lucky and go to metamachex instead. Andy |

from what ive read its a small shop and they dont really answer calls or emails too much. Ive read horror stories of year long waits for a swingarm. Id look elsewhere personally |

same here. wrote twice and called probably 10 times at any time, no answer. in their website they even apologize with customers for long waiting. I honestly wouldn't mind waiting even 6 months, as long as they can realize the swingarm I'd like to have, which is the mega top braced Capital. I called Metmachex yesterday and spoke with the guy. they have 3 models available: the plain one (which I really don't care to buy cause I prefer the one I have instead), the one with right side plate (which I'm not really crazy for) and the one with double bottom tubes which is the one I like, but the guy explained me that I might need to shorten the exhaust because the swingarm left tube might interfere with the pipe. having a Force, I don't think I can shorten it, so I don't wanna buy it unless I'm sure I can fit it on the bike with no problems. at this point, I will have to call back tomorrow and ask more questions about the exhaust and then decide. damn I really liked the JMC top mega braced!!! :-( |

I bought a swingarm from them in the early 90's. It was very reasonably priced. The workmanship was outstanding. I had to pay up front and it took close to 2 years to get it. |

2 years??? lol lol lol I don't understand how these people are still in the business! I'll think about Metmachex, otherwise I'll save my money and I'll have Gregg's Custom build a single sided. expensive but at least one of a kind... |

http://www.sputhe.com/aluminum%20swing%20arms.htm You will need to scroll down to the Buell swingarm photo. Not sure of price of time. |

unfortunately it says "swingarms not in production at this time", so it's pointless. but thanks for the suggestion... |

What are you looking for? length, bracing? I can get it done! Great quality, no bs. Here is mine, 12" ext with bracing I can take some better pics of welds, and details if you want.

willie - going to keep running the slick on the extended arm? also, planning to put something on the rear to extend to the axle? At least with AHDRA you have to have some sort of 'bodywork' that extends over the axle. I've seen the same rule at some local tracks. |

AHDRA won't let me run the slick with no wheelie bar but most my local tracks don't care. I don't see the problem with no wheelie bar and a slick, traction is traction. The MCR2 has just as much grip as a slick. I am working on a few things I want to get rid of the tail section and put some body work there but we will see. I was only going 10" for that reason but either was going to have to do something so went ahead with 12". (Message edited by williep13 on January 16, 2011) |

Ben, would you be able to make something like this? picture is small but to give you an idea... also I can use my swingarm (stock polished X1 which I love the shape) and just brace it. but I want the braces to be like the ones in the picture. I need very good quality since it's going to be on a show quality bike. if the answers to all my questions are yes, please send me your contacts by mail so I can give you a call and we can talk. thanks... |

For the right amount of $ I can get any thing. If I can't do it I got a friend with a CNC machine shop that does gooooood work. How long extension you want? If not to much with the stock arm you may not need the brace unless you just want it. |

No extension, I just want the top bracing as the one from JMC I posted previously. Braces are just for the look, so I need a very good and precise work. I pay the right money if the job is well done, no problem at all. But I need the weldings to be professionally done and the final result to be as good as everything that was done on my bike. |

Italain Job will there be an issue with the brace getting into the aluminium oil tank, I know there is not a lot of room since the back of it is flat compared to the original having some curve. I couldn't run my original hugger because it would contact my aluminium tank. |

Shouldn't be a problem, i have an old swingarm laying around to experiment on. I sent you a PM. |

The JMC arms are underbraced for Buells, IIRC. Your bike is in pretty good taste. Bracing a swingarm that doesn't need it is a bit much. How about one of these?

I now that R&R Custominzing has a new swingarm in cooperation with Krüger u Junginger for the tubeframe Buells. They are 2 3/4 inch longer than standard. you must be drive a smaller Belt and they has the nearly same shape than the K&J swingarm only the diameter of the tube are bigger. |

Edoardo: The guys at K&J are really awesome. They were very fast to respond to any questions I had and always kept me in the loop with the status of the fabrication. I love the look of the top brace and meant to ask if that could be added. I forgot to follow through with it when I put in the order. The only difference with the arm now from the picture that Rick put up is the the bracket that connects to the rear shock is now bent. I put a couple pics of mine when I took it out of the box.
